The BasiK Body BFF is not intended to be a medical device and does not claim to permanently change or adapt your body, any sculpting effects are temporary, during usage only, do not wear for extended periods of time and always abide by the following warnings.

Do not use the Basik Body BFF as a substitute to healthy eating or a shortcut to getting your pre-baby body back. We recommend a slow approach incorporating self care and exercise. The BasiK Belly band is for temporary use and is not to provide permanent changes
Never wear the BasiK Body BFF too tightly- it is designed only to shape your body. Wrapping too tightly can put pressure on your core, pelvic floor, and ribcage.
If you feel uncomfortable, loosen immediately or discontinue use.
we recommend to wear the Basik Body BFF for no more than two to three hours at a time

Legal capacity to transact

If you are under 18 years of age, you cannot place orders through this site. By using this site, you represent and warrant to Basik Organics that you are over the age of 18 years. Should Basik Organics suffer any damage or other losses as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, we reserve the right to seek compensation for such losses from his/her parents or guardians.

Creation of account

When you place an order for the first time, you will be asked to create a customer username and password. By signing-up as a customer, you will assist in ensuring that any future orders you place will be dispatched as quickly and efficiently as possible.

You can also order without creating a customer account, by selecting to sign in as a guest.

One person may not maintain more than one account with this site. Accounts registered by “bots” or other automated methods are not permitted.

Please note that Basik Organics reserves the right to accept or reject any application for registration of an account.

Orders

By placing an order with us, you make an irrevocable offer to us to purchase the products that you have selected pursuant to these Website Terms of Use. Information contained in this site constitutes an invitation to treat only. No information in this site constitutes an offer by us to supply any products to you – however, Basik Organics will endeavour to supply your selected products to you.

Acceptance of each order will take place if and when Basik Organics ships the requested items to you, at the time at which the items are despatched by Basik Organics. Title to, and risk in, the items will pass from Basik Organics to you at that time. After the items have been sent, we will send you an email confirming that shipment has taken place.

Prices

All prices listed on the website are in Australian dollars (unless otherwise indicated). Basik Organics reserves the right to change the prices for products displayed on this site at any time before you place an order. The prevailing price for the products, at the time you place an order, will be the price applicable to your purchase.

BasiK Organics is not liable to you or any other party for the impact of such changes.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs will depend upon the location for delivery and the items purchased and are shown separately during checkout.

We are not liable for any products not received due to an incorrect shipping address being provided. Hence, please ensure that you enter the correct shipping address at the time of placing an order.

In the unlikely event that you need to return the products to us, you must pay the costs involved in shipping the returned product back to Basik Organics. If we consider that Basik Organics is not at fault, then no reimbursement in respect of those shipping costs will be provided. If we consider that Basik Organics is at fault, then we will reimburse you for your reasonable shipping costs incurred in returning the product to us.

International shipping cost will be calculated at checkout. Customers are responsible for paying any customs or import duties (including VAT and any processing fees) imposed by your country of residence.

Note: BasiK Organics will use its best endeavours to deliver the goods to your nominated delivery address within the time specified at the time of placing your order. However, we will not be liable to you or anyone else for any losses suffered or incurred due to delay.

Cancelation

No cancellations are permitted once payment is received, and the order has been submitted.

Return and Refund Policy

At Basik Organics, we strongly believe in the high quality of our products and want you to love our products as much as we do. Before using any of our products, always ensure that you read the product description carefully and the directions for use on the product label. However, if for some reason you are not satisfied with a product, please contact us within 10 days of purchase.

Refunds are provided in the form of store credit should a product be faulty, broken or leaking. Personal care products such as the Belly Band, cleansers, shampoos, creams, balms and butters and serums cannot be reused and therefore cannot be returned or be refunded due to change of mind.

While we have many positive feedbacks for our products, we understand that skin care is a personal choice. Some of our products do come in travel sizes, we recommend you to trial them first. We do view every enquiry on a case-by-case basis. If you should return a product to us, please ensure that the product is properly bubble-wrapped and protected. A broken product received can delay or omit your refund completely.

A returned product will be thoroughly checked and tested before a refund can be processed. Processing time of a refund may take up to 4 weeks. Please note that the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Handles and Delivery Expectations

Formulated in small batches, to ensure freshness and quality, please allow 3-5 working days for your products to be made. Once they are made postage usually takes 2-5 days within Australia. If you have an enquiry about the status of your order, or if you're in a rush for your items we will always try our hardest to work something out, so please contact us at info@basikorganics.com.au

Each one of our products are made by hand. This sometimes means that each batch can vary very slightly. If your balm, cream, or oil is slightly harder/softer, darker/lighter or smells slightly different than the last one you ordered rest assured we're still using the same amazing ingredients.

RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

An allergy patch test is recommended if there is any doubt or history of skin reactions. We do recommend performing a patch test when trying any new skincare products. Please perform the patch test on the leg or arm, and not on the face when testing out. Discontinue use if a reaction occurs.

A refund may be organized on a case-by-case basis. A refund request may be submitted via email only, and if you are entitled for a refund, the product(s) must be returned to our address at Level 1 Little Collins Street Melbourne 3000. Please note that the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise specified in these terms.

Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, refunds are provided in the form of store credit should a product be faulty, broken or leaking. Personal care products such as belly bands, nail polish, cleansers, shampoos, balms, butters, creams and serums cannot be reused and therefore cannot be returned or be refunded due to change of mind.

FAULTY PRODUCT RETURNS

In the event that Basik Organics deems a product to be faulty (A faulty product is defined as one which has arrived to the customer damaged), Basik Organics will refund the customer the value of the faulty product/s, including any postage costs. A customer must communicate the fault within 2 days after receiving the products, please send us an email (info@basikorganics.com.au). Please also include a picture of the damaged product/s in the email.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

Due to the nature of our products, BasiK Organics cannot allow product exchanges or product returns if a customer changes his/her mind. Due to hygiene, safety and stability reasons, personal care products that have left our warehouse cannot be resold or reused for another customer. We advise that first time customer buy a trial/travel size product for a start.

Application of the Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. A product has a major failure when it has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it, it is significantly different from the sample or description, it is substantially unfit for its common purpose and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time, it doesn’t do what you asked for and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time, or it is unsafe.

Importantly, the rights described in these terms are in addition to the statutory rights to which you may be entitled under the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable Australian consumer protection laws and regulations.

Please note there may be limitations on your right to return and obtain a refund for products, however these limits will always be subject to your statutory rights.
